James is a seasoned professional with over 30 years’ experience in the media, industrials, telecommunications and technology sectors. James was formerly Chief Operating Officer of Seven Group Holdings (now SGH Limited ASX:SGH), Managing Director of Accenture Digital ANZ and a Partner at KPMG.

James has held multiple Director roles including WestTrac, Coates Hire, Integrated Research Limited (ASX:IRI), Skyfii Ltd (now Beonic Ltd ASX:BEO) and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Boom Logistics (ASX:BOL), Non-Executive Director of Acrow (ASX:ACF), Chairman of MerchantWise Group, Chairman of Seisma Pty Ltd, Chairman of Tambla Pty Ltd and Chairman of Simplyai Pty Ltd.

Mr. Scott is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Fellow of Engineers Australia FIEAust CPEng EngExec.

Alan brings a wealth of leadership experience, transforming the landscape of brand management, media, and marketing. A Monash University alumnus with a Bachelor of Economics, his journey includes impactful roles at Boston Consulting Group and Disney Consumer Products. Since co-founding Merchantwise Group in 1999, Alan has led its evolution into Australasia's premier independent licensing agency, partnering with giants like Microsoft, Coca-Cola, and Sony Pictures. His leadership drives the continuous growth and success of all clients within Merchantwise Group, through the combination of licensing, creative, performance marketing and digital media capabilities that build and extend great brands.

With more than three decades of expertise in brand licensing and consumer products, Rowena has established herself as a respected figure in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Known for her professionalism, financial acumen, and strong client connections, she brings invaluable industry insight.

Before co-founding Merchantwise in 1999, Rowena completed a Bachelor of Business at Monash University. Post-graduation, she gained four years experience at Mattel, and five years at the Walt Disney Company.

In her current role as COO of Merchantwise Group, Rowena holds responsibility for overseeing all shared group services, including finance, legal, and HR, ensuring operational efficiency across the group.

Kerryn McCormack has over 30 years experience in IP licensing, brand management, product development, style guide development, creative development, publishing, location based experiences and home entertainment.  Kerryn has worked as a licensor with Warner Bros. during the 1990s in London and Cartoon Network in Hong Kong in the 2000s, and today, is currently the Managing Director at leading brand management agency Merchantwise, where she heads up a team across video game and entertainment brands.   

During her tenure at Cartoon Network in Hong Kong, Kerryn led a team of brand management experts across Asia Pacific developing extensive programs across all leading consumer products categories for successful launches for Ben 10, Jonny Bravo, The Powerpuff Girls as part of the Cartoon Network Originals portfolios.   

Philippe Bost is an expert on Licensing and Consumer Products passionate about Brand Management, Consumer Trends and Entertainment.

 With over twenty years of consumer products experience, Philippe has worked in nearly every part of the industry. He has deep expertise in licensing, product development, manufacturing, category management, marketing strategy, ecommerce, and retail execution.

In his current role of Managing Director, he is driving the expansion of Merchantwise in International territories like EMEA, China or Nort Asia with a special focus on Gaming and Adult franchises.

Prior to Merchantwise, he served as Vice President of Activision-Blizzard for International Consumer Products, in Brazil as Mattel ‘Head for South America CP and as Managing Director for Disney Consumer Products for Spain and Portugal for more than 10 years.

Justin Watson has over 25 years of expertise across licensing, marketing and public relations in fashion, lifestyle & FMCG industries. Living in Sydney, Melbourne & Los Angeles Justin has worked as an agent, licensee and licensor, providing a unique blend of strategy, insight & industry relationships. During his international tenure as Marketing Director for knit top manufacturer Mighty Fine in Los Angeles Justin worked with leading US retailers and extended the companies own licensed brands to UK, Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and China. In 2008 Justin founded BAM Brands an influential communications agency for Australian & International fashion brands. Currently, Justin is the co-founder and Managing Director of Asembl, one of APAC’s leading FMCG and lifestyle brand extension agencies, stewarding renowned global brands including Rip Curl, Coca-Cola, Unilever, and Perfetti Van Melle, driving innovation through brand extensions and partnerships.

Andros is a visionary creative leader with over three decades of experience shaping groundbreaking campaigns in the entertainment, tourism, and attractions industries. As Co-Founder of the Merchantwise Group, he has been the driving force behind high-impact marketing programs for some of the world's most iconic brands.

Andros has spearheaded innovative strategies for global entertainment giants, including Walt Disney and Village Roadshow, throughout the Asia-Pacific region. His expertise continues to power the success of internationally recognized brands such as Disneyland Paris, Microsoft, and Hasbro—delivering unforgettable experiences that captivate audiences worldwide.

Across her career, Narelle has worked on all sides of the retail experience: from shop owner to market researcher and now digital performance media. Today, she uses this deep knowledge to nurture the next generation of digital marketers.

As CEO, Narelle is the strategic force behind all things business development, customer relationship management, and client media strategy. Her mantra is simple: use data to drive decisions and communicate them transparently to achieve customers’ business goals.

Under Narelle’s stewardship, RQMedia has achieved extraordinary outcomes for brands that want to challenge the status quo and realise YoY sustainable and high growth.

Paul is a constant innovator and experienced at building the bridge between technology and business. As a Bachelor of Economics and Computer Science (Hons) he is able to identify where business processes can be improved or disrupted by technology. Paul has 30 years of experience in industry consulting to leading businesses in finance, media and government. He founded and was managing director of Impulse Screen Media which was acquired by Merchantwise Group in 2021 and previously founded other start-ups including WirelessOz and has also worked for large enterprises including SAP, CSC, Fineos and National Westminster Bank.

In his current role as Director of Technology and Performance he is focused on technology delivery, implementation and strategy development across the Merchantwise group ensuring all the team have the technology resources they need to perform at the highest level.

With over 19 year’s experience working for and with Australia's largest retail brands, Nick’s experience covers design, buying, product development, marketing, merchandising, ecommerce, licensing and business innovation. Nick has a proven history of driving the creative direction and development of some of Australia's most successful retail brands, as well as working directly with the largest consumer products brands in the world to bring innovative customer experiences to market. Nick continues to work with a number of globally recognised brands both locally and internationally, consulting on retail, creative direction, campaign, collaboration, range development, trend direction and business innovation.

Ed is Director of Integrated Growth at Jaywing. He has spent the past 15 years working in various leading agencies across the UK, New Zealand and Australia, spanning performance marketing, creative, UX, development and public relations.

His work centres on developing integrated growth strategies that connect paid, organic, content and customer experience, ensuring teams and partners think holistically about strategy, execution and outcomes, and helping brands move from demand generation through to conversion and sustained growth.

Since joining Jaywing Australia as Head of Digital Strategy, Ed has been part of the unified Jaywing and Frank Digital leadership team, helping embed integration and innovation as core to how the agency operates and delivers for clients.

Lach brings more than 18 years of brand marketing experience across agency and client roles. He founded Ruck Agency, a boutique creative shop acquired by Merchantwise Group in 2025. With roots in copywriting and content production, he offers a sharp, modern perspective on brand building. His hands-on experience spans fashion, education, government, tech, startups and retail, and he has taught in RMIT’s Advertising program.

A prolific creator, he has produced short films, live comedy shows and a podcast, with writing published in The Huffington Post, Mamamia and The Age. He is also, reportedly, tall, bald and oddly good at rescuing cans from trees and cats from the top shelf of the supermarket.
